Grandpa’s Priorities
He looks old enough to be my father;
the schoolmate I hadn’t seen in years.
So was the guy who saw me
when I look into the mirror.
Three priorities emerged quite clear:
1. Prep for where I’ll go from here.
2. Hang with those that I revere.
3. Clarify my wishes for those held dear.
